Baroness Stroud, Chair of the Social Metrics Commission, led a debate in the House of Lords. She outlined the landmark findings of the Social Metrics Commission report based on its new measurement framework, and explained why the Government should adopt the Commission’s approach as the official measure of poverty in the UK.
