Social Metrics Commission gives evidence to the Tynwald Select Committee on Poverty

The Select Committee on Poverty for Tynwald, the Parliament of the Isle of Man, took evidence from the Social Metrics Commission (SMC). The Committee chose to look at the SMC’s definition specifically as it looks at total available resources, unavoidable costs including disability, housing, childcare and debt, equivalised for family size.
