Robert is Deputy Director at the Institute for Fiscal Studies and he runs its research programme on inequality, poverty and the welfare system. He is a member of the Expert Panel leading “The Deaton Review: Inequalities in the Twenty First Century“. His research focuses on economic inequality, particularly in relation to the labour market and the design of the welfare system.
